FAQ
Practical answers for inventory teams
What DealQuip is designed to do, how assistance works, and what remains planned for early access.
What is DealQuip?
DealQuip is a mobile-first platform for capturing, identifying, organizing, and reconciling physical asset inventory. It is designed for teams working with equipment across real-world locations.
Do I need to photograph every asset?
No. Photos can add context, but DealQuip is designed to work with the best information available, including asset numbers, serial numbers, barcodes, QR codes, manufacturer and model details, labels, data plates, and other unique markings.
Can I import an existing inventory?
CSV import is part of the planned workflow, allowing teams to begin with an existing inventory and verify it in the field.
How does AI identification work?
DealQuip evaluates multiple available identifiers and signals to suggest information or possible matches. Unique identifiers matter more than visual similarity, and a user reviews the result before it becomes part of the verified record.
How are service needs recorded?
The planned workflow uses the customer-facing status Needs Service for equipment requiring repair, inspection, calibration, recertification, maintenance, or similar attention.
Can I attach documents to assets?
Asset photos and supporting documents are included in the planned product experience so important context can stay connected to the equipment record.
Can I export my data?
Yes. CSV export is planned to help teams move reviewed inventory results into their existing reporting and operational systems.
Is a web dashboard available?
Expanded web management capabilities are planned, but they are not presented as part of the current pilot. This public website does not include a customer dashboard.
Is DealQuip available now?
DealQuip is preparing for early access. Join the waitlist to receive product updates and future availability information.
Is the published pricing final?
No. The pricing page describes the current pre-launch model so prospective teams can understand the direction. Plans, allowances, and final subscription terms may change before paid service begins.
