No GPS hardware is required. DealQuip manages equipment records, recorded Sites and Internal Locations, custody, field capture, and physical inventory reconciliation. It is not a live GPS or telematics platform.
Can I import my existing equipment list?
Yes. DealQuip supports CSV import so your team can stage and review existing equipment records instead of starting from a blank inventory. Import behavior remains subject to the organization’s plan, role, and Asset capacity.
Can technicians use DealQuip in the field?
Yes. Field Users can complete focused, permitted equipment workflows such as finding Assets, checking equipment in or out, adding comments, and flagging Needs Service. Organization roles continue to control access.
Can DealQuip help with physical inventory?
Yes. Reconciliation compares expected inventory with field findings and helps teams work through verified, missing, review, relocation, and service exceptions.
How does AI-assisted equipment identification work?
With Pro or Max, a user can photograph a readable data plate, label, decal, or equipment marking. DealQuip returns supported suggestions for human review. It does not claim identity from unmarked appearance alone.
